LG Gram 14 Ultralight Laptop Launched In India, Starting Rs. 79,990

LG has launched its Gram 14 laptop in India. The laptop comes in 4GB of RAM and 8GB of RAM variants, and is priced at Rs. 79,990 and Rs. 94,990 respectively.

The company will make the LG Gram 14 available in all LG brand stores and IT multi-brand outlets. Initially however, Paytm will exclusively selling the 8GB of RAM variant for Rs. 84,499 with a cashback offer. The Gram 14 was unveiled at CES 2016, and was touted to be the lightest PC with a 14-inch screen size.

The ultralight and slim laptop features weighs only 980 grams, measures 323.9×225.4×13.4mm, and runs on Windows 10 out-of-the-box. It features a 14-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display with very thin bezel on the sides. It is protected by a magnesium and magnesium alloy body, and is powered by a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5 6200U processor with Intel HD Graphics 520. The LG Gram 14 comes in two storage/memory options – 128GB/4GB (Black) for Rs. 79,990, and 265GB/8GB (Gold) for Rs. 94,990.

There’s an HD webcam and a 34.61Whr battery on board. The company claims that the laptop can do 7.5 hours of activity without the need for charging. The LG Gram 14 comes with an inbuilt microphone, and stereo speakers. It supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and has one port for Ethernet, two for USB 3.0, one for USB 2.0, and one for HDMI connectivity. The 4GB variant is sold in Black, while the 8GB variant is sold in Gold. LG offers up to three years of onsite warranty with the LG Gram 14.

Unveiled in February, LG has also started taking pre-orders for the LG G5 in India. The price of the smartphone is listed as Rs. 52,990 on Flipkart. The company is accepting pre-orders on Flipkart, retail stores, and, LG-branded shops till May 30.
